Uppsala University is an administrative authority so most of the decisions can be appealed against. That is the case for decisions concerning admission, respite, study break, points for credit and decisions that conflict with the prohibition against discrimination.
When the University does not fulfill what is stated in law or othes rules
you can report the case to the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education. They can examine the case and leave a recommendation for action. Thus the University is not forced to obey the recommendation.
Before you do a report you should contact the person responsible for the problem at the University and also the Student Union to see if the
problem can be solved in an easier way.
Note that a decision concerning grades can not be appealed against.
