The Student Union works actively with questions concerning equality for all members to have equal opportunities for success in their studies and in student life. The Student Union has a full-time staff member, called the Equity Officer, and an equality group who runs many of the projects to make the university a place where everybody can feel welcome, regardless of sex, social group, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or ethnicity. Below you can read more about what the Student Union is doing in some different fields that we believe are especially important to reach equality.
